Pelin AKIN ÖZALP

Pelin Akın Özalp, who graduated from the University of Surrey in the UK in 2010, began her career at Deutsche Bank. After returning to Turkey, she joined the MT program at TAV Airports Holding. In 2012, Özalp became a Board Member at Akfen Holding. Pelin Akın Özalp actively works as a Trustee and Board Member of TİKAV (Turkish Human Resources Education and Health Foundation), established by Akfen Holding. She also holds the position of Vice President of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award Turkey Program. Between 2013 and 2020, Pelin Akın Özalp was involved in the YPO network, and since 2010, she has served as the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Contemporary Turkish Studies Chair at the London School of Economics (LSE). Pelin Akın Özalp is a Board Member of the Turkey-UK Business Council at DEİK (Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey). She is also a Board Member of the Turkish Tourism Investors Association (TTYD), the Turkish Businesswomen’s Association (TİKAD), the Turkish Marine Environment Protection Association (TURMEPA), the Turkish Enterprise and Business Confederation (TÜRKONFED), and the American Turkish Society (ATS), as well as a member of the Executive Committee of Inclusive Capitalism. Previously, Özalp served on the boards of various NGOs and associations, including the Family Business Association (TAİDER), the Young Entrepreneurs Advisory Councils of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), and the Women on Board Association (YKKD). In 2014, she was selected as the youngest Board Member of TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association). Pelin Akın Özalp continues to serve as a Board Member at Akfen Holding, Akfen Renewable Energy, Akfen REIT, Istanbul Sea Buses (İDO), and Travelex.
