Haris P. Meidanis is member of the Athens Bar (1995). He is fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and member of the British Institute of International and Comparative Law. He is also a certified mediator, Member of the ICC in Greece and of the Institute of World Business Law of the ICC. He has studied at the University of Athens Law School (1993), at the University of London (Queen Mary – LL.M.1996) and holds a Ph.D. in Private International Law from the Department of International and European Studies of Panteion University of Athens (2003). He was member of the Supervisory Board of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations (HCAP) (2019-2024) and is currently the Director of the Athens Arbitration and Mediation Centre (EODID). He is regularly participating in arbitrations and mediations as arbitrator/mediator and/or counsel/advocate. He has taught Private International Law, Law of International Transactions. Mediation and Arbitration at postgraduate classes in Universities in Greece and abroad. He has worked as legal counsel at the Ministry of Economy (2007-2009) and at the Ministry of Development (2005-2007), where he worked extensively in law drafting.
