Lawyer and accredited Mediator, Lutran Avocats & Médiation
David Lutran has been a Mediator accredited by the Paris Mediation and Arbitration Center (CMAP) since 2017. At the same time, he has been practicing as a lawyer at the Paris Bar since 2004 (commercial, real estate and criminal law) and has worked in the litigation departments of leading law firms (Linklaters, Gide) after a stint in multilateral diplomacy in New York. He is the founder of Lutran Avocats & Médiation, based in Paris (France) and specialized in the amicable and contentious resolution of business disputes. David acts as a mediator and co-mediator in domestic and international mediations: commercial cases, real estate, construction, shareholder/partner and inheritance disputes involving the following sectors: energy, international trade, aeronautics, agri-food, information and communication technologies, fundraising, public works, insurance, audiovisual production, etc. David is appointed by institutions such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), mediation centers as well as by the courts and directly by the parties. Certified by the International Mediation Institute (IMI), he is registered on the roster of mediators of several institutions in the Middle East (Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA), Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR)) and in Africa (Centre d’Arbitrage, de Médiation et de Conciliation de Ouagadougou (CAMCO)) and many Courts of Appeal in France. He is Vice-President of the Mediation and Conflict Prevention Commission of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA). Author of numerous publications on mediation, which he teaches in several universities, he regularly organizes and participates in events related to mediation, in France and internationally. He is currently focusing his practice as a mediator, the quality of which has been regularly praised and rewarded in recent years, towards the prevention and management of conflict induced by the energy transition.
